Children
We believe children are gifts from God and an important part of our community. It's our desire to make church a nurturing, enlightening, and fun place for your children. Therefore, Redeemer will provide childcare during the worship service for children ranging from birth through age five. During this time your children will be well taken care of and have fun playing games, singing songs, doing crafts, and learning the basic storyline of the Bible.
Currently children who are in Kindergarten through the 5th grade will stay upstairs with their parents during the worship service. Please ask one of the greeters for a special packet of materials that we put together each week for children in this age range to help them as they participate in the worship service.
Also, as soon as the need arises, it's our intention to begin having "children's church" for children in Kindergarten through the 5th grade. When we begin this, children in this age range would start the service upstairs with their parents, sing some songs, and then be escorted by one of our wonderful greeters downstairs for "children's church," where they will go through a Bible Study on the Promises of God. The study we've already selected is "The ABC's of God: A Study for Children on the Greatness and Worth of God," published by Children Desiring God. If this is of interest to you, please contact the pastor to discuss this opportunity in more detail.
Please feel free to call 617-923-1968 if you have any further questions.
